JavaSpec and JavaScope how do they work together?
Problem: JavaSpec not increasing code coverage. I have 2 classes (one auto generated testcases, created by hand via JavaSpec). These classes are part of one pkg among several pkgs of the target
product under test (it is an NT service). I have instrumented this target product for IFLUSH=true.
Do I need a javascope.properties file? I have one but it is not being read. I have a runtime db name different than static. I have profile flag enabled as well.
Can I run the tests from JavaSpec without running my target product?
When I do this, I get a JVM crash.
Re: JavaSpec and JavaScope how do they work together?
I've done it like this:
-Created a javascope.properties file with both IDATABASE and RDATABASE defined with the directory of my database.
-I launched javascope and jsconductor in the directory where I have that file.
-I've intrumented the whole project using jsconductor and verified that it was intrumented using jscope.
-I've re-compiled the whole project and have being testing the project (ignoring the jsoriginal directory created.).
Hope it helps.
