using javastar on HP/UX
Our developing enviroment is based on HP K580,and our JDK version is "HP-UX Java C.01.17.01 99/04/21".When I try to start Javastar on the server ,it can not work ,and the prompt information is:
Unknown Java version "HP-UX Java C.01.17.01 99/04/21".Use the -jdk flag to force a version .-jdk must be followed by one of the following :1.1.1,1.1.2,1.1.3,1.1.4,1.1.5,1.1.6,1.1.7,1.1.8,1 .2,or 1.2.1
Then I try to start the Javastar using the -jdk argument ,but it still fails to work.
If we can't work through this problem, we can not carry on the GUI testing.
Best wishes and good luck!
Re: using javastar on HP/UX
Have you tried upgrading your Unix OS to the latest available, and then installing the latest JDK supported by JavaStar for the platform you're working with.
I don't myself use Unix, but the folks I work with who do have had to perform the process described above. At least on Solaris.
Hope this helps.
