E-Test, the Dialog Manager & E-Load
Currently working on a script which used the E-Test Dialog Manager to input the username/password to a Microsoft Sharepoint site.
This works fine but what I'd like to do is run the script created in E-Test in E-Load. It seems that the username/password that was put into the Dialog Manager is not accessible in E-Load.
Any ideas as to how to get the script to see the input in the Dialog Manager or maybe a workaround?
Re: E-Test, the Dialog Manager & E-Load
This is actually a very important point ... one I learned a ways back by making a similar mistake. The root of the problem is that there is no dialogs for dialog manager to interact with in e-Load thin client only in thick client and e-Tester. This is why tere are two separate tools in the Admin menu, dialog manager and authentication manager. The entries you put into authentication manager will translate to thin client load where dialog manager will not.
So, bottom line is the proper way to build the script is to put your credentials into Authentication Manager and not Dialog Manager
