Now I am doing the valuation of e-tester so as to judge whether it's good enough for web application functional testing or not. Does anyone who ever used the E-tester give me some hints about the E-tester? Is this software powerful enough for functional testing?
Please share me your opinion.
Thanks in advance.
I guess, since I am using the product, my answer would be yes. The thing to remember is that you will need to use vba to build in any kind of logic to you test scripts. If you see this, then do that type of thing. What I think I am trying to say is that yes the product is strong enough but you need to put in a little effort on the vba side both in tester and in manager.

eTester is the most recent tool that I have used. In that project I ended up writing 2500 lines of vba code to achieve the required result. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
2500 lines! So many codes!
I wonder to know you write these codes in order to cover the new requirment instead of recording the script again or just to modify the script?
