is e-Test a Good tool for testing Java Applets.
I currently use Rational Robot to automate my testcases.
I have been asked to consider e-Test in the place of Robot to automate this product.
From the 'Getting Started' document I tried to record the Java Swing object, it won't record.
Can somebody advise me if it is possible to record Java Swing objects and record testcases in e-Test OR e-Test is only for HTML bases webpages?
any advise is appreciated.
Re: is e-Test a Good tool for testing Java Applets.
e-Tester can record applets that use Swing objects. During the install, you had to have checked the option for Java support. After that, you will have to record the initial page the applet is on or is launched from. Then you will have to snap pages manually after you perform some user action. If you get in a bind, the Empirix support group should be able to help you.
