e-Tester: Using ProgX and other class objects
I'm trying to access some of the classes (for external programs) that are provided with e-Tester.
For example: There is no Halt method directly available using VBA from within the e-Tester environment, SO
I went to the tools/reference menu from the e-Tester VBA window and added "mint" to my references.
The Halt method belongs to the Gen class which is a member of ProgX which is defined in RSWMint.exe (mint).
When I do this:
Set genericObject = New.mint.ProgX
I get an object with gen, om and play properties but when I expand each of those, the only members for each are gen, om and play. It goes on ad infinitum.
How can I access the methods for those classes?
Re: e-Tester: Using ProgX and other class objects
The intent of the Automated Testing Forum is "For general discussions about automated software testing tools."
Clearly, this topic is not about Automated Testing in general, but is specifically about e-Test.
The e-Test Forum's role is "Discuss topics about e-Test Suite by Empirix (formerly RSW) here." If you ask this question there, you will be much more likely to get the answer you seek.
