Clicking on a location on the screen
Our application uses a graphic (.jpg) with buttons overlayed on top. When the mouse cursor moves to a particular location on the screen an overlayed graphic appears. When using e-tester it does not record those keystrokes.
Does anyone know how in VB to click on a location on the screen. I can do it in Visual Test because it has the "play" command with a Click directive.
Any help appreciated.
Re: Clicking on a location on the screen
You should try the latest 5.1 release. It will have a event recorder that will record mouseover, keyup events. This might help with you problem with the playback.
Also.. when you click on a location, it should be recorded in the paramter section in the page of the script.
