Post Oracle Forms launch error - OATS Openscript Functional test Oracle EBS/Forms

    Hi All,

Am recording script through openscript i.e., "Functional Testing (Browser/GUI Automation) -> Oracle EBS/Forms".
At the time of recording java code is developed and when trying to open forms i.e., after clicking responsibility and the sub-menu (forms), am getting error from the Oracle Form window saying "Error. Click for details".
But if I open the forms without running OATS/openscript testing tool, Forms are normally opened.

FYI: I can record and playback the script on webpages i.e., iProcurement page using same wizard i.e., "Functional Testing (Browser/GUI Automation) -> Oracle EBS/Forms".
Am getting issues when trying to open forms.

Java version: Java 6 update 43 (build 1.6.0_43-b01)

Openscript version: Version: 12.2.0.1 Build 288

    System Configuration:
    OS: Windows XP
Internet Explorer: Version 8 (tabs enabled)

Am attaching the screenshot for your details. Please suggest the fix or workaround to overcome this issue.

Thanks in advance and for your valuable time.

    Thanks and Regards,
    - Gump

    Dear Vasanth,
Just uninstall Java and re-install with updated version. Try to record again EBS forms. 100% it will work.

    Hi All,

I solved the issue by myself.
As mentioned in the thread "Java version: Java 6 update 43 (build 1.6.0_43-b01)" was uninstalled and then new version of Java was installed.
    Hence this worked for me.

    Thanks and Regards,
    - Gump
