I need to write some loadtest scripts that uses AMF3 protocols (using weborb) for a RIA project that we're doing but i'm having some problems using eTester. I've tried to use the proxy recorder but i only seem to be able to send static requests (The requests also need to be parameterised for register/login forms) as when the steps are recorded they have no fields data recorded that could then be parameterised.
I am not familiar with AMF3, but when you use the proxy to record a script you will just get a script of static http requests. You can use eLoad Navigation Editor to create custom variables (dynamic value correlations) or to map to databank values. Would really need to get a view of the script to give further opinions.
I have been told that Oracle will support Flex/AMF later this year (fall 2010 is what my sales guy told me last time we met). That said, don't quote me, you should check with Oracle directly on when support will be available
