E-Load Remote agents.
Could you please give me some more information about agents used by E-Load? I am familiar with agents in Rational, but can't get enough information on E-Load since the help file that Empirix has doesn't give the details. I still can't understand why the agent is being run on my machine by default (I see the pop-up) when I execute the script in E-Load?
How to run the agents on multiple machines? I mean how to conneect the agents to the machines? And how would I know if the agents were really running?
Thanks a lot in advance!
With Best Regards,
Re: E-Load Remote agents.
All you need to do is install the e-Load agent onto each machine that you want to generate load on. This will install a service which will listen for requests from the controller to run a number of VUs. When you do this you will see a process called wgpro.exe running on the agent machine. You can also view the resource in use on the controller console - go to Options ->
Session Management -> select Collect Agent Performance Statistics.
The reason you see the agent start on your local machine is because when you start the load test you are requesting to run the VUs on your machine - look at your scenario set up.
Hope this helps.
