Please read the below statements and Please let me know whether am i in the right path?
1.In the Internet Explorer->Tools->Internet Options->Connetions Tab->LAN Settings
In the Proxy server Panel->I give the address of the Pc which has the open STA and in the Port i give 81
2.In the Script Modeler->options->gateway
There are Two Options are there local and remote.
I choose "local" Optionns
In the Administration Port I give "3000" and the port i give "81"
In the Local Mode->the Open STA Gateway itself act as a Proxy?
Is Local Mode only for Intranet Application(LAN)?
3.In the Remote Mode->Open STA gateway sends http request to the proxy and Collect response from the Proxy which is specified in the Proxy panel of the Gateway dialog?
is this Remote Mode can only help us when we give load on the internet application?
when we connect with the internet application,shall we give the proxy address in the Remote Options?
4.In the Remote Mode,we have the Checkbox "By Pass Proxy Server for Local Address" also the Internet Explore->tools->Connection tab->LAN Settings
there also we have the Checkbox option "By Pass Proxy for local Address"
Both are they same?.what behind when we Check the Checkbox "ByPass Proxy server for Local address" in the ScriptModeler->gateWay Dialog.
I think you haven't read the link that I have provided, so despite being busy I myself will navigate to that page and will copy the content present there so that you can have your answers without taking the pain to read and understand anything.
If you want help from others then atleast make some initial efforts
Here is the answer of your question:
If there is no browser installed, or if you want to use another computer to record your Scripts, you can choose the Remote recording mode. You can use any networked computer with a browser installed to conduct remote Script recording. If you use Remote recording mode you must manually modify the proxy server settings of the browser on the remote computer. Make a note of these settings because you need to copy them exactly into the Gateway settings on the computer from where you are recording.
Ok i agree with your pints.but for me i have set the "local" mode,through which i can't record scripts for "Google" web application.why?.I have the Browser in my PC.I have done the proper settings in the IE Explorer->Tools->Lan Setting.What is the problem here in the "local" Mode?
