What is mean by active user?
If it gives the count of virtual users those are active at any point of time then why do i get less response time for 50 users than that for 20 users. Am i doing anything wrong or misinterpreting the results?
Here is what I do,
I want to find out the transaction response time for 50 user, I send the users in batches with a batch of 5 users, batch interval and ramp up time are 1 sec each.
For this scenario if I see the 'Timer Values V Active User' graph then I can see the timer value decreases as the number of active users increases. What could be the reason? Does it have anything to do with the batch settings?
Your guidance will help me.
Just a guess, but it could be that as you add users some transactions begin to fail. Check the http data list to be sure you are getting back status of 200 and that the number of bytes returned looks right.
It is not uncommon to see the application return an error message along with a status of 200.
Another thing you should do if not doing so already is to verify the success of primary get or post commands by searching the contents of the results for a string that indicates the operation completed as expected.
