I'm doing some load tests with OpenSTA and aan ASP.Net/Oracle web application and I encountered some problems during my tests.
I launch a 90 seconds test in which the user log in, saves 5 information into the database ans log out.
I try to simulate 20 virtual users and it works perfectly. The server is only 25% load.
I want now to launch 100 simultaneous virtual users.
So I use 3 injector hosts but when I've got more than 24 virtual users, I've got hundred of the folloing error :
"IO failed for VU X-Y on connection Z/T with error 64 (the specified network name is no longer available.);"
I tryed to change registry values concerning TCP parameters (MaxUserPort...).
I modified the TestExecuter_web.ini file to inclue "Linger=0" and "ReuseAddr=1" but I already have my errors.
The server don't seems to be overload and both the injector hosts.
Re: IO failed for VU 3-1 on connect 0/1 with error 64
I sometimes have the same problem and although I haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet, I have found that stopping and restarting the name server on your load generating machines seems to help.
