    OpenSTA Toatl Q\'S

    Dear Sir,
I am developer currently involved in testing my project.
    I have gone through http://www.test-tools.net/opensta.htm.
I am using OpenSTA as Stress/Load tool because of its popularity (and of course free tool), but facing problems now as not clear tutorials are there on site. Everything is vague. Not solving my purpose.
I have several queries ... I have recorded script in OpenSTA to test Demo Website (CGI script of Who is president web site). I am running it this in Development environment in our LAN. Web site is hosted on Linux server. OpenSTA is installed on Win2000 Professional OS.
How do i test web site load with OpenSTA ? Is it possible to test Linux servers performance in Open STA ? Does OpenSTA measures servers performance or clients machines performance using many VU (Virtual USER) ?Is servers performance is measured then If I host these site on internet environment how do I measure servers performance ?If clients (end users of site) performance is measured then how do we predict that how many users site is going to handle ?
Also how we analyze graph in open STA and came to conclusion? How is SNMP collector is different from nt collector ? What is use of DOM in OpenSTA?

    Thanks IN advance...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">The official website for OpenSTA is http://www.opensta.org , and the community site for OpenSTA is http://portal.opensta.org .

make sure you visit both of these. There is a significant amount of documentation, an FAQ, and a lot of other resources for getting you started.
