Iteration with respect to virtual user
I had a scenario as:
1.Login Script = 10 virtual users
2.Txn Script = kept into 'n' no of iterations.
3.Log Off = 10 virtual users
In above scenario one time 10 virtuals will b logged in and will do 10txns(no of iterations for second script) each and will get log off.that means 100 txns by 10 users.
Now my project functionality is once my remitter has remitted a money to a bene then that particular bene will come into existing bene list of my remitter for next remittance.
But I need to test the load for the scenario when money is remitted to bene first time because at first time only bene details are entered into the system.
Now for a test run the bene name can be similar across the remitter that is across our virtual users but for next iterations it shd take different value for bene.
For first iteration of virtual user:
For second iteration of virtual user:
Now pls suggest a way that how to share var as bene for different iterations so that for each iteration of txn script i had different bene name which can be similar across the remitter.
pls revert back as soon as possible
Re: Iteration with respect to virtual user
You need to read about variable scope, which can be LOCAL, SCRIPT, THREAD and GLOBAL.
You may also find the synchronization commands (mutexes and semaphores) useful.
