    using identifiers

    I am having trouble getting this identifier to work. Can someone tell me what is wrong with it? You should be able to post it right into OpenSTA in a new script to try it out:

    PRIMARY GET URI "http://www.useit.com/alertbox/9605.html HTTP/1.1" ON 1 &
    HEADER DEFAULT_HEADERS &
    ,WITH {"Accept: image/gif, image/x-xbitmap, image/jpeg, image/pjpeg, application/vnd.ms" &
    "-powerpoint, application/vnd.ms-excel, application/msword, application/x-gsarcad" &
    "e-launch, */*", &
    "Accept-Language: en-us", &
    "If-Modified-Since: Tue, 20 May 2003 03:05:08 GMT", &
    "If-None-Match: ~<22>5bc635-1e4d-3ec99b64~<22>", &
    "Connection: Keep-Alive"}

    LOAD RESPONSE_INFO HEADER ON 1 INTO VAR_HEADER
    LOG VAR_HEADER

    LOAD RESPONSE_INFO BODY ON 1 INTO VAR_BODY WITH "HTML(0)/BODY(0)/TABLE(0):ATTRIBUTE:BGCOLOR(0)"
    LOG VAR_BODY

    Re: using identifiers

    It seems that i get closer if, after recording my script, I remove the caching headers below:

    "If-Modified-Since: Tue, 20 May 2003 03:05:08 GMT", &
    "If-None-Match: ~<22>5bc635-1e4d-3ec99b64~<22>", &

    I am still having an impossible time getting this to work:

    LOAD RESPONSE_INFO BODY ON 1 INTO VAR_BODY WITH "HTML(0)/HEAD(0)/META(0):ATTRIBUTE:CONTENT(0)"

    even though this works perfectly:
    LOAD RESPONSE_INFO BODY ON 1 INTO VAR_BODY"

    my console output is this:

    1-1 :[37]:REQUEST(1): GET http://www.useit.com/alertbox/9605.html HTTP/1.1
    1-1 :[45]:Connection 1: receiving results with status 200
    1-1 :[45]:HTTPRESPONSE: Name: VAR_BODY Identity: HTML(0)/HEAD(0)/META(1):ATTRIBUTE:CONTENT(0) Value:
    TModeller_Web.exe|1896|1-1|USEIT|45|E* HTTPRESPONSE (HTML parser): unresolved variable for connection (1)
    TModeller_Web.exe|1896|1-1|USEIT|45|E* TScript::run: ERROR in TOF execution; resuming...

    Re: using identifiers

    ok, i figured it out. it seems that you need to right click on an item in the "HTML Tree" view and choose "Address". it prompts you for a variable name and creates the address for you.

    for example:
    LOAD RESPONSE_INFO BODY ON 1 &
    INTO text &
    ,WITH "HTML(0)/BODY(1)/H3(17):TEXT 0)"
