I am quite new in OpenSTA. I am trying to create a test scenario with multiple user performing a function .
Four user login into the site, picking up individual password .Then each user pickup another unique value and perform an action.
This as followed:
1. Four user (a1,a2,a3,a4) with password ( b1,b2,b3,b4) login into the site.
2. They pickup value ( x1,x2,x3,x4) respectively and perform an action.
How can I ensure that a1 user will pickup x1 only , a2 user will pickup x2 only, a3 user will pickup x3 only and a4 will pickup x4 only; and will perform
I have create thee variable USERID,PASSWORD, VALUE with SCRIPT Scope and done Mutex Locking before each POST .
Now problem is during test run , there is no guarantee that a1 user will pickup x1 value only , sometimes it pick up x2 or x3 or x4 and perform the action.
I want that a1 user will only pickup x1 value and a2 user will pickup x2 value, …….. and perform the action.
Can u please tell how can I ensure the above condition
Re: OpenSTA-Multiple user
If you have the variables as SCRIPT scope then did you copy them to variables with LOCAL scope inside the mutex commands ?
The code will be something like:
Acquire mutex "LOGON"
Set L_USERNAME = USERNAME
Set L_PASSWORD = PASSWORD
Release mutex "LOGON"
Then use the L_ variables to pass the username and password. L_ variables should be declared with a LOCAL scope.
