    Difference of 3 tools

    Please help me out comparison of 3 performance tools like Loadrunner,Open STA ,Silk Performer?

    The primary differences are cost, ease of use, and protocols supported. If you try to use OpenSTA without training, you may get something working but odds are you will get something that you think is working when in reality you are generating load that is non-sense to the system under test. Once you master OpenSTA, it will still take you longer to generate scripts than with other tools as it requires more manual correlation. I wrote a VB program to automatically edit scripts to do the majority of the manual editing unique to OpenSTA. This cuts my scripting time from one or two days to one or two hours (for complex long scripts). I use OpenSTA for all my web load testing because it helps me compete globally. With my tools and knowledge of OpenSTA, I can compete with companies in countries where the cost of living is 1/3 of mine.

    Get a quote for load testing 10,000 VUs that includes software, hardware, and network capacity. Compare that to being able to do it for less than $100 for 24 hours of testing with OpenSTA. Read more here
