Session count increases enormously with 550 users
Environment setup :
We have Weblogic installed in 2 managed servers(application servers) which are clustered. There is one more machine where i have installed ISS server which is a web server and acts as proxy to the 2 managed servers.
All the requests go to the managed servers(application servers) through this proxy.
I have a weblogic console with which i monitor the number of sessions created in the managed servers.
In my application whenever homepage is hit a new session is created on the server side.
So in the script i am hitting the Home page once and iterating the rest of actions.
What happens is until the number of users are 550 the number of sessions created in the managed servers are also 550.
Once i add another few users, say 50 users the session count increases enormously say 5000 sessions are created.
I have set the amximum number of connections in the IIS to Unlimited.
Can anyone help me in this regard as to what parameters should be tuned in the IIS to solve this issue???
Is this a problem with OpenSTA???
Anyother solution... pleas reply immediately... Its Very [stupid is as stupid does]....
Thanks in Advance...
Re: Session count increases enormously with 550 users
Doesn't sound like it has anything to do with OpenSTA.
