Launch 5 Vusers 4 do the job 1 lost in cant logout
HI I am trying a simple script for vusers which access an account and make a payment and logout. I see 4 users login and make a payment in the SQL Profiler and via application as well. The 5th user logged on but is lost in middle doesnt logout. How can I know what is going on?
Sometimes this scripts works fine and sometime 1 user is lost somewhere after logon. Any help is appreciated. Has anyone had such a probem I finally end up killing the test run....as it seems to be going no where after 4 have logout.

The key to diagnosing these types of problems is validating results. Each primary get/post needs to be followed by loading the response_info body into a variable and examining it. Here you will find the first request to fail. Ignore failures after this and concentrate on the root cause. Most likely it is a failure to correlate some dynamic value. Focus on parameters passed in either the URL or the post body of the request that is failing AND also the prior primary request. http://portal.opensta.org/index.php?...cle&sid=40 has useful info on verifying results.
Occasionally a problem with a request that appears to be correctly parametrized, and is indeed working most of the time, can be due to timing issues. Make sure that prior requests prerequisite to the request that is failing have completed. The easiest way to test if this is your problem is to preceded each primary get/post statement with a SYNCHRONIZE REQUESTS statement and see if this solves the problem.
