I am using opensta to test a .net application and run several iterations for 50,100.200 different users.When analyze " Acive user VS Elapsed time,Timer values VS Elapsed time" i can find a tremendous increase in response time[@ VU reaches to 100]. I find a "Save" that consume more time.
My Quarry is
1. Is it possible to find what are the other activity's that the other VU has done during this time when VU reached 100?
2,Is it possible to find out which DB SP[Store procedure ]is failing?
3. I have placed DB Deadlock counters in Performance Counters and is spikes several time.. Is it possible to distinguish what causes the DB deadlock? [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]
You should be able to see which HTTP requests were sent when your virtual users reached 100.
I build timers around all the pages, so I can see from the timerlist what was happening with 100 users, but you may not have done that so the HTTP log can also tell you. It will also tell you if any particular request was very slow. You can filter out the images, css, js etc.
As for the database, you need to monitor the database. OpenSTA can tell you which HTTP request was slow, but it doesn't know which DB requests this equates to. But you should be able to run a monitor on the DB to look for long running queries, speak to your DB team.
