Freinds I am using openSTA 1.4.1.Here in script Moduler form in Query Results Pane Dom Tab is not Present but according to dicumennt it should be their.
HTML,STRUCTURE,HTML TREE, server header, client header tabs are present.I THINK STRUCTURE TAB IS DOM ,AM I RIGHT?
Re: DOM tab
In modeler, focus on the work PRIMARY for the URL you want to explore. On the menu tab, a yellow arrow should be highlighted. If not, Modeler can not find the URL in the .ALL file and therefore can not show you any details. IF you have modified the URL from the original recording, you will loose the ability to use the DOM explorer. So, if in doubt, start with a new recording.
Once you see the yellow arrow, click it.
The window to the right of the main window in Modeler should now have the tabs HTML, Structure, HTML Tree, Server header, and client header.
Click on HTML tree. Click on the top node of the tree. Right mouse and you can use the search function to find what you are looking for.
If this is not working there are only two reasons I can think of; 1) You modified the URL, so the modeler can find it and the related text in the .ALL file, or 2) You recorded with version 1.1 of HTTP and the response from the server was gzipped. If gzipped, you cant use the DOM explorer and in fact, you cant do any correlation with it. If you want to use the recording, you can disable gzip by removing it the related clause from default_headers (a constant defined at the top of the script) and then use load response and your own subroutines to extract the data you need. You will however be limited to accessing the first 64KB of the response.
