We are facing the following problems
1)In a single Load generator we are able to pump only upto 1664 users. -
2)When we do distributed testing i.e configuring one machine as master and remaining slaves we are getting network disconnections between client load generator and master load generator.
How to solve these two issues?
Re: Opensta queries
1) There is a maximum number of users per injector. You found it. To go above this number, you must go to multiple injectors. You can do that on seperate machines or, as I prefer, separate VMs on the same box.
2)Not sure about your network disconnects. Tell us more about the errors and where they are being reported. I do know that the slave and master must be on the same subnet and that on machines with multiple adaptors, there can be problems. One thing I have found helpful is to edit /etc/hosts (on the master and all slaves) and add the server name and IP address of the master and all slaves. Seems to make things more stable. Also, when brining up the servers, start the master first then bring up the slaves. Verify they are all visiable by the master in commander by tools->Architecture Manager which should give you a list of all servers. If a server is not visiable in this list, you can't use it in a multi-injector test.
