I am new to OpenSTA. Created A collector (NT Performance).
Adding a query for memory (% Committed bytes in use) as mentioned in FAQ(OpenSTA.org)
After running the task for collector and VU's script for 10 VUsers, the graph i get in Results (Custom NT performer) is empty. Am i on the right track.
What other settings do i need to do? if Any...
Sounds like you are doing it right. The only thing I can think of is that you are not running the test long enough and you have a single point which you can't see if you graph it. Check the interval in the collector. Its in seconds I think. Compare to the run time of your test. Make sure you are collecting multiple points.
Also, when viewing the graph, right mouse and export to excel. In excel, click and drag on the graph image to reveal a table. See any values there?
I tried your solution and found not much difference.
I tried for VUs load of 10. My setting were as below:
Total no of VUs for this task group: 10
Number of VUs for timer results: 10
And as mentioned by you
Virtual users for HTTP results is set to 1.
Generate timer of each page: set to "on".
