VUs taking different value from FVR file

    Hi Guys,

I am facing one problem in my script which is wrote
    The scenario is as follows
    a.Login to application
    b.Search Order

1.I have written one script for entire scenario i,e login and search order
2.Then i run it for 3 VUs and it picking values from FVR file in right order
3.for this script works fine and i am able see the order number in the logs for the respective user

3Then i have seperated the script into two
    a.One for login
    b.other for Search order
3.Here in login i have two FVR files
    one for LoginID declared as
    Character*215 Loginid FILE "FR_UNAME",SCRIPT
    Character*215 Pwd FILE "FR_PWD",SCRIPT
4.I have user Mutex to fetch the values
5.Next i have created Search Script where
I have declared two FVR files
    Character*215 Loginid FILE "FR_UNAME",SCRIPT
    Character*215 orderNum FILE "FR_ORDERNUM",SCRIPT

6,These files have 3 user id and 3 order number
    FR_UNAME
    user1
    user2
    user3
    FR_ORDERNUM
    12345
    67890
    54321
    respectively

When i run these script in the task group for 3 VUS

7.Order for picking the order_num for these user is interchanged
    i.e
user1 getting last order num 54321 so it is fails because this order not exist for that user and same applies to other

My question when i run these in Task Group why the order_num is getting assigned to other users

there is no problem with sessions

Please refer the attached log and scripts also

    user1 should pick 12345
    user2 should pick 67890
    user3 should pick 54321

Help me out how to get order num associated with that user.

Re: VUs taking different value from FVR file

What I would do is have the login script acquire a mutex, then read values for both uname and ordernum, place them in thread scoped variables, and then release the mutex. The order script would not read from the file, it would simply reference the thread scoped variable for ordernum that was created by the login script.
