Configuring to test with Exchange Server
Where would you go to learn more about Exchange server? Our application generates and processes email received using exchange server (one method - there are other configurations possible). Most of our testing in the past has just relied on our use of our corporate Exchange server (2003) being accessed by our VMWare testbed of OS servers. For better testing, I would like to be able to configure like some of our more complicated customers. For example, they might have two exchange servers in their company that are at different version levels (one at 2007 possibly). Users in the Active Directory tree might have accounts on either of these. I would like to test comfortably without having to worry that I am somehow risking the company exchange server (to be sure that test is isolated from production). Corporate resources are used for Internet access and sharing files though - so I can not be totally isolated from them.
I'm not really expecting an answer from anyone here on this issue - but if you could point me at the type of training you think I could use to figure this out myself, that would be a great help! Thanks so much.
