Anyone knows where I can find a SIP over TCP traffic generator?
Haven't used it myself (soon , I hope) but I think SIPp will do what you want, look for it on sourceforge.
My blog is "Testing and Telephony" at http://www.sqablogs.com/meredithcourtney/
Yes, I've installed SIPp on two PCs. But I couldn't figure out the command :-(
Client PC -- something -- server PC
I've tried this on server PC:
./sipp -sn uas -t t1
this on client PC:
./sipp -sn uac 184.108.40.206 -t t1
./sipp 220.127.116.11 -sn uac -t t1
I'm very confused on the command line guide...
the diagram got screwed up...
client PC IP is 10.1.1.1, routing to 18.104.22.168/24 gw 10.1.1.2
server PC IP is 22.214.171.124, routing to 10.1.1.0/24 gw 126.96.36.199
Please try this, app, this is not a free product i guess, and please see your if your resources can afford this tool. http://www.gl.com/packetgen.html
Everything you can think of can be subject to test!

can I've note of Testing of these protocols since before getting in to this pls be aware of protocal since all these comes under protocol testing
Any ref to open source tools? like sipp??
There's also SIPr (or sipper). A free alternative to sipp. A newer tool and uses Ruby/command line tools instead of XML for creating test scripts or scenarios.
Haven't tried it myself but worth looking into.
