Internet Browser Settings for .NET Applications
I understand a major .NET premise is that the Web Services are supposed to be *blind* in relation to different Platforms, Back-End Software, etc. However, I was wondering if anyone has seen any evidence in their testing that contradicts this? I was also wondering if it would be feasible to compile a list of *standard* or recommended Internet Explorer browser settings for use with applications written in ASP.Net (C#). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Internet Browser Settings for .NET Applications
For a webservice it shouldn't matter what the IE settings are. Since the browser does not typically call the webservice directly but instead it is accessed by your website/application.
