What is .Net Framework ??
Anyone can give perfect defintion or explanation for this . .
Well, it is kind of very generic question... like what is a human? Or what is a monkey?
What is the difference between a monkey and a human?
In fact, the idea is pretty close.
The story goes like this.
In the beginning there was only Assembly, and then C was created. C was good, till some issue with object arrived, and it was done for by C++. Microsoft saw good in C++, and created COM, DCOM and COM+.
But COM was evil, necessary but evil. So Microsoft created a wrapper around COM+ and called it .NET. In fact, .NET runtime, or CLR is a classic com server.
And obviously they copied the idea from Java.... but that is another story.
So, in precise terms, .NET is a runtime, beneath the skin, internally a COM server.
Just like, beneath the skin humans are chimps.
At last you didn't say the definition or explanation but you are coming to say something instead of that Well thanks for the reply. . .
