I've recently 'inherited' a NeoLoad implementation which I'm now having to take forward for the client.
In trying to make sense of what testing has been done to date, I wanted to keep a record of the various test results.
I've noticed that within each NeoLoad Project, there is a "results" folder, containing the various runs.
I have 2 questions:
1) Is there any way to consolidate all of the results, such that they all sit in a central directory rather than being stored within each project? (there are several projects in use)
2) Can I rename the various test results folders from their current format (result_<randomstring>) to something more meaningful? Could this cause problems attempting to analyse the results within NeoLoad?
Any thoughts/comments would be much appreciated.
Yes, there is a way to solve both of your requirements.
Try to run Neoload tests from command line (Neoload Help file have complete details about this)and you use following command for report
-report "c:\NeoLoad\NeoLoad Reports\AppName\SampleProject_%date:~-4,4%%date:~-10,2%%date:~-7,2%_%time:~0,2%%time:~3,2%%time:~6,2%.html“.
I am using same procedure in my projects.
Hope this works.
