* Security settings: Throughput and routing efficiency may be impacted by security settings. Test with a variety of standard IEEE 802.11i security settings for groups of emulated clients.
* Penetration test, which will provide validation of the application’s security.
Security Testing has to be well complemented using Pentration testing Technique methods.
As the Mobile applications are also of the Client Server Architecture you will have to use the techiniques based on the technology used in development.
For example if the application is connected to a SQL server at the last tier of the architecture try using SQL Injections. Sometimes XSS Injections are also very usefull.
Please keep on mind before doing any Penetration Testing to get approval for the same, if you mistakenly crash the server that happens most of the time you can land in serious trouble
