    How to test Switch Routing

Does anyone have any experience in testing switches which routes the call from one physical location to another?
How to test the PBX switches?
    Thanks

Re: How to test Switch Routing

This is tested like any other system by injecting inputs and verifing that corect outputs are generated.
This may sound stupid but you can think about the PBX configuration parameters and user dialing as inputs and PBX acting on thouse to do something.
I belive this type of testing is usualy done with the help of external test equipment.

you should also run stress tests to see how many calls per second or minute the device can handle. And as Eyal mentioned, there are hardware devices to generate and terminate the calls for you.
