QA in PalmOS and WindowsCE environments
There is no much on the net and discussions about testing utilities, web pages on
PalmOS and WindowsCE environments.
I've asked a question before and the answer
I got - only manual testing can be done.
However those environments are far behind the old age of o/s.
complex databases can be programmed, web sites can be run from those "small" machines.
So, i guess manual testing is not enough.
What do you think?
Re: QA in PalmOS and WindowsCE environments
I disagree, I think that Manual Testing will provide many more answers than questions, for you.
IMHO you should be approaching this project just the same as any other projects and not worry too much about the technology you are working on. Unless you have to complete your (system) testing on the actual machine, ie you can't run the software within an isolated test environment and then port the code over to the hardware.
In any case I wouldn't be so quick to dismisss manual testing, just because you are working on todays' "cutting edge" technology.
