Return of the Execute
I am wondering if it is possible to get some sort of return value from a Recordset execute command. I have the following code and want someway of knowing if the execute is successful or not.
Dim datConn As ADODB.Connection
Dim datRs As ADODB.Recordset
Set datConn = New ADODB.Connection
datConn.Provider = "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0"
Set datRs = datConn.Execute(SQLString)
Re: Return of the Execute
I realise that using:
would work if it was a select SQL statement, but what if its a delete,update or insert?
