I'm creating scripts for a product which is broken down into various sections (eg. licenses and users), but they all interact with each other.
Is there a way in testpartner to be able to better manage the subscripts? I can't group them in different porjects, because they all need access to eachother, but I would like a way to be able to only see scripts pertaining to licenses for example.
Re: Managing Scripts
I would suggest that you structure your test in modules and functions. Put all actions related to a specific functionality in the same module. So you could e.g. create a module "User" and another module "license". In your module "User" you might have the functions "Add" and "Edit". In the module "license" you might have the function "Validate"
In your script you can do the following:
' first include the modules:
User.Add "Tom", "Tester" ' calls the Add function in module "User"
License.Validate "Tom", "Tester" ' calls the Validate function in module License
' maybe this changes Tom Tester to Thomas Tester
User.Edit "Tom", "Tester", "Thomas", "Tester"
' then you could e.g. again use your validate function:
License.Validate "Thomas", "Tester"
