Can objects be declared in a separate module?
I'm currently making the transition from QTP 9.2 to TP 6 and from VBScript to VBA.
In QTP I'm used to bypassing the object repository by declaring my objects in a separate .vbs file and associating it as a shared resource with my script. Can I do the same thing in TP with a separate shared module? If so, what would the syntax be? I get an "invalid outside procedure" error message if I simple start declaring objects as I would in VBScript.
Re: Can objects be declared in a separate module?
You could use a shared module to declare the objects. You just need to declare them properly.
Public t As TButton
Set t = Button("Caption=start")
