Iím losing the extra zeros, I have 0.000000 in the excel file and it is formatted that way because that is what is excepted on the AUT screen. When I print or write the same variable to the new .csv file I am only getting 0. How do I state to format like the following
InvComPri = FormatNumber(InvComPri, 6, 1)
This gets an invalid call.
When I step through the script all the zeros are being read in to the variable InvComPri in the immediate window I enter ?InvComPri and I get 0.000000 as the result. How do I keep that?
Not a TestPartner person but your problem rang a bell for work I had done with excel and CSV. I checked out doing this in Excel and using numeric field formats I could not get the CSV file to retain the format - even when saved as a text field. It appears that CSV will reformat any number to a general type format no matter what you do.
Can you save as a txt or excel file rather than CSV?
