Identifing X-Lite soft phone objects
Could any body help me in finding out a way to identify X-Lite softphone objects so that i will be able to automate using that soft phone for my telecom application...
Re: Identifing X-Lite soft phone objects
You might want to try this solution. Not the best one, but might fit your needs.
X-Lite automation API (unofficial) (in VBScript)
As for detecting X-Lite GUI objects for your automation with GUI automation tools, be forewarned, that X-Lite and eyeBeam were not designed to be GUI friendly. I've tried it myself, and most of the objects are hard to detect. You are better off controlling the softphone with the keyboard shortcuts. And unfortunately, you can't read the phone's display easily to detect status/state of the phone. But you can parse the softphone's SIP log to determine the same thing.
