Grabbing data from a javatable
I have a javaTable and I need to pull the contents from a column and throw them into either a collection or an array, but haven't quite figured out how to do that.
I have a table that contains a list of users and before I create a new user, I would like to check that it does not exist.
Re: Grabbing data from a javatable
The below function will retrieve the contents of a JavaTable and stores it in a .CSV file.
Function ExportJavaTable(JavaTableName As String, strFileName As String)
'Declaring Local Variables
Dim Table As TJavaTable
Dim TabItems As TItems
Dim Row As Object
Dim iFileNum As Integer
'Assiging the values
Set Table = JavaTable(strControl)
Set TabItems = Table.items
iFileNum = FreeFile
'Opening a file to export the JavaTable items
Open strFileName For Output As #iFileNum
'Exporting the JavaTable Items
For Each Row In TabItems
For i = 1 To Row.count
Write #iFileNum, Row.Item(i);
Write #iFileNum, '\n';
'Closing the Opened file
