We have set of different Projects, But All the Object Maps are Created in the Common Project area...
In some case we have Created the Object Map for in Project say "A"...
Actually what happens intially that it TP reads the Object Map entries from the Common area because all the Object Maps entries are listed there, but now we want that it can search from "A" project and then search for common Project.
I was initially confused about where (in which project) object maps are created.
Object maps are created in that project which is set as "Active". By default "Common" is set as active project.
So even though you are working on "MyPetAutomationProject", have set "Common" as active project and set view Filter to show you only assets from "MyPetAutomationProject" - you will not see object maps created.
This is because active project is common so object maps (for that matter any new item) will be created there. Since you have set the view filter to only "MyPetAutomationProject" - you cannot see the object maps.
If you want to object maps to be created in project A - set project A as active. you are all problems are solved.
By intelligently (??) using active project and view filter you can view, update and manager object maps in an efficient (??) manner.
