I have come across a problem while working on TP, I am using the TP database from other machine thru sharing and drive mapping. The scripts and the object created are not visible to others when they are trying to access the same database with all the required permission for the folder and the database.Could any body help me out from this problem?
thanks in advance
Re: machine dependency
My recommendation would be to take the network out of the picture to better isolate the root problem. If I am correct in assuming that the database type is Access I would have you and your colleagues pull a copy of this database local to your machine. Try logging into this database using your existing login information and see if you can see all assets.
Another test, assuming you (dj_te) can see the assets, would be to log in as one of your colleagues from your machine with the database either local or remote. Check to see if you can see the other assets. You could also try this test by having your colleagues log in using your account. In theory if what you say is correct they should not be able to see any of your assets.
My guess is either someone is looking at the wrong database on the network or there is a rights issue with TP resources not being able to access projects in the database.
