Sleep vs. Pause
Is there any difference in the Sleep and the Pause commands in TestPartner? In other words, both seem to do the same thing, but is one method better than the other? TestPartner help is not helpful in comparing the two methods of pausing the script.
Re: Sleep vs. Pause
The difference is that TP has a Playback option called PauseMode which determines whether or not Pause statements are executed during script playback. In contrast, Sleep statements are always executed.
You can set this either from the Tools|Options menu or in code: Playback.PauseMode = True turns Pauses on and Playback.PauseMode = Turns them off
As to which one is best, well if a Pause is used presumably it's for a reason so replacing it with a Sleep will at least ensure that it's always carried out!
