I have some Infragisitic objects that I am trying to interacting with and I found that I could us the Alias Mapping for a ComboBox.
The problem I have is that the Alias Map uses the "Class Name" to Alias with a ComboBox. Unfortunately anything created with Infragistics in the test application seems to have the same "Class Name" i.e.
Therefore if I create an Alias for ComboBox with the "Class Name" above, it sees all other objects as a ComboBox.
TestPartner does see the DotNETClassName, which is unique for specific objects. Is there any way to create an alias on a property other than the ClassName?
HI can anyone expand on this? I've just started using TestPartner and am not really as technical as I'd like with programming, although I'm working on this.
Our software uses Infragistics and we have manu bars/toolbars where the individual links/buttons are not recognized, the object querier identifys the whole area (like a frame) as one entity, and I cannot drill down to individual controls.
I have TP5.3 and notice that a lot of people have trouble with Infragistics. Has this been addressed in a newer version?
in another page someone mentioned using Tools>References and making a reference to Infragistics controls. Presumably I have to install Infragistics onto this computer. Will this then solve the problem and allow me to see the entitys lower down in the heirarchy that I currently can't see?
