    capture text in a table (TP 5.3)

    Can I capture text within a table? I know that I can select the coordinates, but how do I assign the value of that table location to a variable?

    to get the visable text, you can use javatable.capturetext or to return the items to a collection....

    Window(&quot;SwingSet Window&quot.Attach

    Dim ti As TItems
    Dim s As String
    Dim o As Object

    Set ti = JavaTable(&quot;Index=1&quot.Items

    Dim i As Integer
    i = 0
    Dim j As Long

    For Each o In ti 'For each Row
    i = i + 1

    For j = 1 To 5 'For columns 1 to 5
    s = o.Item(CSng(j))

    s = &quot;Item &quot; &amp; CStr(i) &amp; &quot;,&quot; &amp; CStr(j) &amp; &quot;, [&quot; &amp; s &amp; &quot;]&quot;
    TestLog.Comment s
    MsgBox s

    End Sub</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">
