Diff between TreeView and DotNETTreeView
Can anyone explain the difference between treeview and dotnettreeview objects. In general diff between normal and dotnet objects. Also whether the methods and properties are applicable to both types.
Re: Diff between TreeView and DotNETTreeView
The difference is what your application is built in. If its a Java app, you would see JavaTreeView. TreeView means it was likely built in C or VC++.
Open a blank script and press the F2 key to open the object browser. Select TPOSI from the dropdown. (This is TP's object library). From there you can select Treeview (or DotNetTreeView) to see what methods and properties are available for each.
I guess I should say.... you don't have a choice of which one to use... you have to use the one that matches how TP identifys/records the object.
