Capturing and saving AUT screen images
If you have a need to capture and save images (Desktop, Top-most application window, parts of the Screen) when executing TP scripts against your AUT, you may want to check out the SnapShot class in the TPHelperCommands ActiveX component.
The SnapShot class allows you to do the following:
- Capture and save images in a Word document. You can add comments to Word document to annotate the images plus you can append Word documents together so you can create a single Word document which contains all the captured images for all the scripts in a test.
- Capture and save images of the Desktop, Top-most application window, and parts of the Screen in a BMP file
- Capture and save images of the Desktop and Top-most application window in a JPEG file
