TestPartner support for SWT
Fellow Testpartner automators,
I have just been thrown into a new project that has a UI based on Eclipse RCP which uses swt to code the ui controls.
The problem I am facing is that the swt-win32-3063.dll is not registratable and thus I can not include the .dll in my TestPartner references. The result beeing that the script only captures the Windows, Buttons, EditBoxes, Labels, etc. as native windows controls. Many of the objects only come back as GUIObjects though. All objects have bad attachproperty alternatives. I have not find any better way to interact with this UI.
Have any of you gurus out there been using TestPartner to automate the UI of a SWT application, or even better an Eclipse RCP application? If so, it would be interesting to get your feedback.
