Re: Data Test Question
You don't really want to use the Wizard even if you are starting scripts from scratch. That functionality is limited and will be completly rebuilt in the near future.
If you are using the QARun data stuff... you are likely using the + and - approach out of a CSV. TP does this very different, but much easier. The code below will read an entire row of data from your file and automatically assign it to vars.

Do While Not EOF(1) ' Loop until end of file.
Input #1, FirstName, LastName, Address, Phone ' Read 4 cols into the named vars.
Close #1 ' Close file.</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">
Data Test Question
Hi, I just started playing with TestPartner today, and I have a question regarding the Data Test Wizard.
I have created several QARun scripts that make extensive use of the TestData functions of QARun. I was hoping to port this to TestPartner. I would like to create my own data sets to use in TP, but so far I have not found a way of doing this outside of the wizard. This is a bit of a problem since I am trying to do some testing of mainframe apps through an emulator which the wizard perceives as a single object.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
