When logging in remote, and executing scripts I am experiencing the following...
The windows which are opened in the application that the script is executing are larger and are partially off of the view of the screen. When the script looks for buttons, it does not find them and the script fails.
Any ideas on any settings, etc., that may be changed to fix this?
I have changed the pixel settings in the remote display properties, this is not the answer.
The remote o/s is XP PRO and the home o/s is XP PRO.
Re: Remote Connection
You should have testpartner installed on the machine that you are remoting into. This way the scripts will be at object level and not dependent on pixel location. TP needs to be installed on the same operating system that your application under test is.
So when you click on a button in a script it should look something like this and not care on where the button is located on the screen...
