There was a comment in a previous post about using shared modules: "...Be careful when using shared modules as the more you have, the more memory will be consumed when running a script from a project that contains the shared modules." That was posted about year and a half ago. I was wondering if that's still the case with version 5.2.1.
Re: shared modules
IT will always be the case, because that is the nature of Modules vs. Shared modules. When you Play a script a quick compile is done first. That means all of the code/functions are loaded into memory for execution. Since Shared Modules are automatically included in every script, you are loading those into memory as well.
The alternative is to create Modules with functions that you want to group together... then use the '$TPInclude "mod_name" to include only those functions in your script.
